Best Arched Full Length Mirrors: Arch-Top Mirrors to Lean, Stand or Hang
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. How I choose products.
On this page
An arched full length mirror is a tall body mirror with a curved top, and it has become the default shape for bedrooms and dressing corners because the curve softens a wall full of straight lines. Most of them can stand on a fold-out bracket, lean against the wall or hang. This page compares seven arched full length mirrors from 56 to 90 inches tall, on height and width, frame, safety glass and how each one stands.
The specs come from each published listing. This page is only about the arch-top shape. If you are still deciding between shapes, or want a lighted body mirror, my full-length floor mirrors page compares rectangles, arches and LED models side by side, and the cheap full length mirrors page keeps the spend low.

Best Arched Full Length Mirrors Compared
Sizes are height by width in inches, as each listing gives them. Six of the seven have thin aluminum or metal frames, and all seven state some form of safety glass or explosion-proof backing, which matters on a mirror this tall.

Arched Full Length Mirror Reviews
Heights, widths, frames, glass and stand options below come from the makers' and sellers' published listings. I compared those details against each other and against what a tall mirror needs to stand safely, and I say plainly when a listing leaves something out.

TinyTimes Full Length Mirror, 71″x30″Arched Large Floor Body Mirror (Gold) | Oversize Wall Mounted Mirror with Stand, Shatter-Proof Glass, Aluminum Frame Hanging or Leaning for Bedroom, Living Room
- Mid-range
- Size (in) 71 x 30
- Frame Aluminum, gold
- Glass HD glass, safety backing
- Stand, lean or hang All three
This is the arched full length mirror I would point most people to first, because the proportions are right. At 71 inches tall and 30 inches wide, it shows a tall adult head to toe with room to step back and see an outfit, and the width leaves space for two people to check a look at once.
The frame is thin gold aluminum around HD glass, and the back carries an explosion-proof safety backing that holds the glass together if it breaks. The listing gives three ways to set it up: freestanding, leaning or wall-mounted, and the screws and anchors for the wall are in the box.
The listing does not state the weight, which is worth asking for if you plan to hang it. For a bedroom or a dressing corner, though, this is the most balanced arch on the page.
What I like
- 71 inches tall, enough for most adults to see head to toe
- 30 inches wide for a comfortable view
- Stands, leans or hangs, with screws and anchors included
- Explosion-proof safety backing
Keep in mind
- Weight not stated
- Gold finish only on this listing

HARRITPURE 56"x21" Arched Full Length Mirror Floor Mirrors | Free-Standing Wall Mounted or Leaning Dressing Mirror with Aluminum Alloy Frame Modern & Contemporary Decor for Home, Black
- Budget
- Size (in) 56 x 21
- Frame Aluminum; black, gold, silver
- Glass Explosion-proof film
- Stand, lean or hang All three
If you want the arch shape without the bigger sizes, this HARRITPURE is the one I would buy. It is 56 by 21 inches with a thin aviation aluminum frame that the listing calls anti-rust and moisture-proof, in black, gold or silver.
The glass has an explosion-proof membrane for safety, and the listing describes it as HD with a natural reflection. It can stand freely, lean or hang, and the hardware and instructions are included.
At 56 inches it is shorter than my top pick. Thanks to the half-height rule explained below, a 56 inch mirror can still show a person up to about 9 feet tall in theory, but only if it is hung at the right height. Leaning on the floor, tall people will need to step back. For a small bedroom or a dorm, it is the sweet spot.
What I like
- Three frame colors: black, gold and silver
- Explosion-proof membrane glass
- Stands, leans or hangs
- Lowest price tier among the larger arches
Keep in mind
- At 56 inches, taller people need to step back to see their feet
- Weight not stated
Best Slim Arch
Sweetcrispy 56"x15" Arched Full Length Mirror, Full Body Mirror, Gold | Aluminum Alloy Thin Frame, Floor or Standing, Suitable for Bedroom, Living Room, Cloakroom
- Budget
- Size (in) 56 x 15
- Frame Aluminum, 0.23 in front
- Glass 3mm nano glass
- Stand, lean or hang Stand, lean or hang
Some walls only have room for a sliver of mirror: behind a bedroom door, between a wardrobe and a window, at the end of a hall. This Sweetcrispy is 56 inches tall and only 15 inches wide, the narrowest arch on the page, and its gold aluminum frame is just 0.23 inches deep at the front.
It needs no assembly. You can stand it on its holder, lean it or hang it vertically. The glass is 3mm high-definition nano glass with a pure silver layer, which the listing says improves clarity and break resistance and keeps pieces from scattering if it breaks.
The narrow width is the trade-off: it shows one person, straight on. For checking an outfit before you leave, that is all you need. If you want an over-the-door option instead, see my over the door mirrors page.
What I like
- Only 15 inches wide for tight spaces
- Very slim 0.23 inch front frame
- No assembly required
- Nano glass with a pure silver layer
Keep in mind
- Narrow view, one person at a time
- 3mm glass is thinner than the others here
Best Freestanding Arch
Antok 71" x28” Arched Full Length Mirror, Floor Mirror with Stand,Black | Shatter-Proof Glass, Floor Standing&Hanging&Leaning, Full Body Mirror with Stand Aluminum Alloy Frame for Bedroom Livingroom
- Mid-range
- Size (in) 71 x 28
- Frame Aluminum, black
- Glass Explosion-proof
- Stand, lean or hang All three, U bracket
If your mirror needs to stand away from a wall, in the middle of a dressing area or in a corner, the Antok is built for it. The back opens into a U-shaped bracket so it stands on its own, and it can also lean against the wall or hang vertically from the hook on the back.
It is 71 by 28 inches, almost the size of my top pick, in a thin black aluminum frame that the listing describes as light and easy to move. The glass uses explosion-proof materials so it does not scatter if it is damaged.
A freestanding mirror takes up more floor than a leaning one, because the bracket needs space behind it. Measure that depth before you choose this over a wall-hung arch.
What I like
- U-shaped bracket lets it stand anywhere
- 71 inches tall
- Thin, light aluminum frame that is easy to move
- Explosion-proof glass
Keep in mind
- A freestanding mirror takes floor space behind it
- Glass thickness not stated
Best Oversized
Easly Oversized Full-Body Mirror, 76" x 34" Arched Full-Length Mirror, Black Metal Frame, Floor Mirror for Bedroom, Living/Dressing Room, Gym - Stand/Wall Mounted/Leaning
- Mid-range
- Size (in) 76 x 34
- Frame Aluminum, black
- Glass Explosion-proof film
- Stand, lean or hang Stand, lean or hang
The Easly is the arch I would choose for a dressing room or a large bedroom. At 76 by 34 inches it shows two people at once from head to toe, and the wide arch reads as a piece of furniture rather than a mirror propped in a corner.
The frame is a slim black aluminum alloy, and the glass has an explosion-proof film so it does not splash out if struck. It comes with a stand, so you can set it up freely or lean it, and it can be wall-mounted. The listing gives about 30 pounds, which is useful: you can buy the right anchors before it arrives.
Easly sells the same style in several sizes, so if 76 inches is too tall, you can stay with the look in a smaller version.
What I like
- 76 by 34 inches, a big view for a dressing room
- Explosion-proof film glass
- Stand, lean or hang
- Stated weight of about 30 pounds, so you can plan anchors
Keep in mind
- Needs a clear wall at least 3 feet wide
- Heavy to move on your own
Best for High Ceilings
TinyTimes 90"x46" Full Length Mirror, Oversized Arched Floor Mirror, Black | Extra Large Full Body Mirror with Shatterproof Tempered Glass, Standing/Leaning/Wall Mounted for Living Room, Dressing Room
- Premium
- Size (in) 90 x 46
- Frame Aluminum, black
- Glass Tempered, safety backing
- Stand, lean or hang All three
This is the statement arch. At 90 inches tall and 46 inches wide it is almost a wall in itself, and in a loft or a living room with high ceilings it bounces light across the whole space. The frame is black aluminum alloy, and the glass is described as HD tempered and shatterproof, with an explosion-proof backing.
Like the smaller TinyTimes, it can stand freely, lean or hang, with the wall hardware included. At this size I would always secure it to the wall in some way, even when it leans.
Check your ceiling before anything else. A standard 8 foot ceiling is 96 inches, which leaves only about 6 inches above this mirror, and less once it leans back at an angle. It is also the most expensive tier here, so I would only choose it for a room that can really hold it.
What I like
- 90 by 46 inches, the largest arch here
- Tempered shatterproof glass with a safety backing
- Stands, leans or hangs
- Makes a room with high ceilings feel even bigger
Keep in mind
- Only just fits under a standard 8 foot ceiling
- A two-person delivery and setup
Best Vintage
HOMECOOKIN Gold Vintage Arched Full Length Mirror, 65"X22" Antique Baroque Mirror, Wall Mounted Mirror with Ornate Frame, Floor Mirror for Bedroom/Living Room/Entryway/Hallway/Wall, Hanging or Leaning
- Mid-range
- Size (in) 65 x 22
- Frame Ornate metal, gold
- Glass Strengthened, safety film
- Stand, lean or hang Hang or lean
Most arched mirrors are thin modern frames. This HOMECOOKIN goes the other way: a gold baroque frame with carved floral details, the look of an antique dressing mirror at a fraction of the antique price tier. It is 65 by 22 inches, tall enough for a full view in most rooms.
The frame is solid metal with an anti-rust and moisture-resistant treatment, and the glass is strengthened, with an explosion-proof film that the listing says breaks into small harmless pieces if impacted. Hanging hardware comes pre-installed, and the listing suggests it over a fireplace, beside a staircase or in a vanity area as well as in a bedroom.
It has no stand, so plan to hang it or lean it. If you like the antique look, my guide to antiquing a mirror shows how the real thing ages.
What I like
- Ornate baroque frame with carved floral details
- Anti-rust, moisture-resistant metal frame
- Explosion-proof film on strengthened glass
- Hanging hardware pre-installed
Keep in mind
- No stand: it hangs or leans only
- A busy frame that suits traditional rooms better than modern ones
How I Chose These Arched Full Length Mirrors
- A true arch. Every mirror here has a curved top. Rounded rectangles and ovals are on my full length mirrors page instead.
- Height that works. I covered 56 inches for small rooms up to 90 inches for high ceilings, and I note what each height needs.
- Safety glass. An explosion-proof film or tempered glass is a must on a mirror this tall, and all seven state one.
- Setup options. Mirrors that can stand, lean and hang rank above those that do only one.
- Price tiers, not prices. Prices change daily, so I give you tiers and send you to the live listing.
Arched Full Length Mirror Buying Guide
How Tall Does a Full Length Mirror Need to Be?
A flat mirror only needs to be half your height to show all of you, as long as it is hung so its top sits a little above your eye level. That is basic optics, and it is why a 56 inch mirror can show a 6 foot person when it is on the wall at the right height. Leaning on the floor, the mirror sits lower, so you need either more height or more distance to see your head and feet together. For a leaning arch, I would choose at least 65 inches for most adults, and 71 inches or more if you are tall.
Width
Width decides how much of an outfit you see when you turn. Fifteen to 21 inches shows one person straight on. Around 28 to 30 inches lets you turn and see your profile. Thirty-four inches or more shows two people. Wider mirrors also bounce more light into a room.
Ceiling Height and Leaning Angle
Measure floor to ceiling before you order a tall arch. A leaning mirror sits at a slight angle, which takes a little height but adds depth at the base. As a guide, leave at least 6 inches between the top of the arch and the ceiling so it does not look jammed in. That rules the 90 inch arch out of most rooms with an 8 foot ceiling.
Stand, Lean or Hang
A stand, usually a fold-out bracket, lets the mirror sit anywhere but takes floor space behind it. Leaning is the most popular look and needs anti-slip pads and ideally a strap at the top. Hanging saves floor space and is the safest with children around. Most of the mirrors here do all three.
Frame Finish
Thin black frames suit modern and industrial rooms. Gold warms a neutral bedroom and works with brass lamps or handles. A baroque or carved frame belongs in a traditional or eclectic room, and looks out of place against flat-pack furniture.
Where an Arch Works Best
An arch suits a bedroom corner, the end of a hall, a dressing room or a dining room wall opposite a window. My guides to placing a floor mirror in the bedroom and using a mirror in the dining room cover what to reflect and what to avoid.
Yes. Six of the seven arches above can be wall-mounted, and most include the screws and anchors. Hanging is the safest choice in a home with children or pets, because the mirror cannot tip. Fix it into studs where you can, and hang it vertically with the arch at the top.
For almost everyone, yes. A mirror of about 71 to 72 inches shows a tall adult head to toe even when it leans on the floor, and leaves room to step back. It also fits comfortably under a standard 8 foot ceiling, which a 90 inch arch barely does.
Yes, as long as the frame can cope with steam. Aluminum frames, like most of the arches here, resist rust and moisture. A full length arch suits a large bathroom or a dressing area beside it. Over the sink, a shorter arch sized to the vanity usually looks better.
They help in two ways. Like any large mirror, they reflect light and the room back at you. The curved top also draws the eye up, which makes a ceiling feel higher than a flat-topped mirror of the same size. Place it opposite or beside a window for the strongest effect.
Put anti-slip pads under the bottom edge so it cannot slide out, and fix a strap or a small bracket from the top of the frame to the wall. Lean it at a gentle angle, not straight up. Keep it out of walkways where it can be bumped, and hang it instead if children play nearby.
